From the Disaster Law list serve is the following note provided by Dr. Robert Verchick, Loyola University of New Orleans (with permission): Yesterday, bowing to a court order, the Administration released a summary of the anticipated effects of climate change in the US. Almost all of this has been published in earlier draft or final reports, but it is helpful to have it all in one place. There are many references to disaster events like storms, floods, droughts, heat waves, wild fires, and the like. The report also notes several times the disproportionate harm that the poor and other vulnerable groups will face. See Scientific Assessment of the Effects of Global Change at www.climatescience.gov
