 The Seismological Observatory of Messina University, on the occasion of the centenary
of 1908 Messina earthquake, organizes, together with its research partners, a
special edition of the International Conference of Applied Geophysics for Engineering
from 24 to 29 November 2008. This Conference represents a significant step towards a greater interaction among researchers, Institutions and citizens, within an extensive project, also aimed at the improvement of citizen awareness regarding seismic risk mitigation.
